Jacob Izrael gives his definition of Sacred

Shalom friends.
I hope this week has been leading you towards a cleaner life and one that is truly untouchable. This week Sacred Apparel is featuring a longtime friend Jacob Izrael. In Jacob Izrael’s video, he ends stating that Sacred to him means Above the Rest. When I hear the words above the rest, it brings me to Isaiah 55:9, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” See, when I think of our heavenly Father I think Sacred. Our Father is the very essence of what Sacred truly means. He is Set-Apart. He is Holy. And yes, he is above the rest! People in today’s world have many idols.

Many go day to day without even realizing how they have failed to give Yahweh the glory that He deserves. Do you have idols in your life? Do you reach for something or someone before you reach for Him? Though the narrow way can be difficult at times, it is not impossible. There are only a few things that stand in our way when we are truly trying to live a Set-Apart life. We need to say no to some things and yes to others. Do you say yes to Yahweh’s word first thing in your day? Do you say yes to helping others? Do you say yes to prayer? Do you say no to gossip? Do you say no to time wasters? I personally have failed to answer perfectly to all of the questions I just asked. However, my mission is to reach to Him because He can help me be Set-Apart for He is holy. I want to thank Yahweh for using Jacob Izrael to remind me that He is Above the Rest. His ways are higher than my ways, His thoughts are higher than my thoughts. So, friends I hope this inspires you to remember that your Father is above the rest and He is entitled to this position. He deserves this position in your life. Until we meet again, may you Live Life Sacred and place your Heavenly Father Above the Rest for He is Sacred.

With much love, Anna Johnson
